KOKO Africa is a trading name and is owned by Khaya Linen CC with its registered offices at 188 Biggarsberg Road, Glenvista, Johannesburg, Gauteng, 2091.
Please take a moment to read these online shopping terms and conditions to understand how they apply to your online purchase of our products. Use of our online shopping website constitutes your acceptance and agreement of our terms and conditions detailed herein and our Privacy Policy which are to be read together. Please note that our terms and conditions may be updated and changed from time to time without notice and accordingly it is your responsibility to read our terms & conditions on each occasion of shopping online with us.
Furthermore by using of our online shopping website you warrant that you are over the age of 18 and have full legal capacity. If you are under the age of 18 or lack legal capacity, then you may only use our online shopping website with the consent of your parent or legal guardian. The person providing legal consent is bound to our terms and conditions and is liable for all your obligations arising from the use of our website.
Product Availability & Delivery
All products on our website are subject to availability. If the stock is available, your order will be dispatched within 24 hours** of payment being received. **Kindly note that our courier service provider does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. The moment your order is dispatched for delivery you will be notified by email and a tracking link will be sent to you.
For South African delivery addresses, if there are no major disruptions to courier services, your order will reach you within 7 working days depending on whether your delivery address is in a central area or outlying area of South Africa. We offer free standard delivery however if you need your order sooner there is an express delivery option which carries an express delivery fee at check out.
Kindly note that should no one be at the delivery address at the time of delivery the courier will keep the products and contact will be made with you to make new arrangements for delivery. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should be it required.
For orders requested for delivery anywhere outside of South Africa there is a minimum $70 (seventy US Dollars) shipping fee, which is based on an order not exceeding 2 (two) kilograms in weight, which is payable at checkout. We will happily obtain a courier quote for acceptance by you and payment by you for any orders exceeding 2 (two) kilograms in weight. Kindly note that any in country duties or taxes which may be levied is for your account. We regret that no refunds, returns or credits will be given on international orders (namely orders that are to be delivered outside of South Africa).
Description Errors:- The content appearing on our website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. We do not warrant that any content on our website is accurate, current or complete. If we identify a material error in the description of any of our goods, services or prices on our website we will not process the order and will endeavour to notify you should we terminate the order.
Colours:- We have endeavoured to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on our website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on the device that you use to access our website, we cannot warrant that your device’s display of any colour will be accurate.
Refund / Return & Exchange Policy
We will happily accept the return of an item/s or exchange an item should you be dissatisfied with your purchase.
Please notify us within 7 days of purchase that you wish to return an item/s. Below we have listed a process to follow should you be dissatisfied with the item/s purchased using this website. We aim to process your request as soon as possible and ask that should you have requested a refund that you allow a total of 16 working days between us receiving the returned item/s and you receiving a full refund.
Regretfully we do not refund nor exchange item/s on any sale merchandise.
On receipt of your purchase, if your are dissatisfied with any item/s , kindly follow the following procedure:
- Within 7 days of purchase contact us via email on info@kokoafrica.com.
- Provide us with a detailed reason for the return and whether you would like to exchange or receive a refund.
We will only accept returned items if:
- The request for the return of an item/s is made within 7 days from date of purchase; and
- It’s in its original condition; and
- The purchaser provides the invoice and/or payment receipt where applicable.
Defective Goods
Unless clearly visible, any claimed defective item/s will be subject to investigation prior to the provision of a remedy.
No refund/exchange will be considered if item/s are no longer in their original condition which includes and is not limited to the following: all tags are intact, the item/s have not been altered, misused, washed, worn or any damage has arisen from ordinary wear and tear.
Returning item/s process is as follows:
- Please notify us of your return and let us know if you would like an exchange or a refund.
- Kindly deliver, at your cost via Postnet to Attention KOKO Africa, mobile number 0648796416, Postnet Linksfield Neighbourhood Square. We will collect the returned parcel from our Postnet branch.
- Depending on what you have chosen we will either send to you the replacement item in exchange for the returned item/s at our cost or if applicable refund you.
The Exchange process is as follows:
- The return delivery costs of any exchanges will be for your account.
- We will return the exchange at our cost.
- Free standard shipping to the customer for first exchange only.
The Refund process is as follows:
- On receipt of your returned parcel, your returned item/s will be checked and if the return meets the return policy requirements then we will instruct Payfast to reimburse you in full via your payment card.
- This could take 7 to 10 working days for funds to be in your account.
Payment and Security Policy
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).Please be advised that we offer standard free shipping within South Africa, whereas there are conditions and costs for international orders.
We accept EFT and Visa/Mastercard payments online through our Safe and Secure merchant processor, Payfast. All personal information (including your name, email address, street address, phone number, and order history) are encrypted for additional security.
Governing Law
Our Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
All materials, images, designs, text, logos, videos or other material on our website or social media platforms are owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may only use this site and its contents for browsing and to make legitimate purchases. Unauthorised use, modification, reproduction and/or distribution of our content is prohibited and constitutes an unlawful infringement of our intellectual property rights. The loading of any damaging or unlawful information or viral software or the creation of any links to our website or social media platforms is prohibited. You agree to indemnify us against any loss, damage, claim, harm or any other cost whatsoever that we may sustain as a result of your use of our website or social media platform(s) contrary to our terms and conditions.

We reserve the right, without notice nor liability to you, to modify or withdraw, whether temporarily or permanently, our website (or any part of the site) . You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use our website or any parts thereof.
Exclusions of Liability and Disclaimers:

We make no representation or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the functions provided by our website will be error free or uninterrupted, or that the website, or the servers that make them available are free from viruses or other harmful elements . We accept no liability, to the extent permitted by law, for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage of any kind whatsoever or howsoever caused arising from the access or use of our website for the purchase of any of our products or services. You agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify us against any loss or damage suffered or liability incurred by reason of any act or omission on your part or that of any third party acting on your behalf in connection with the use of our website and/or your purchase of any products or services.
Notwithstanding any provisions contained in these terms and conditions, our liability shall not at any time exceed more than double the monetary value of any order placed via our website.
